Direct and oversee projects from start to finish including planning, risk assessment, stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and communication.
5+ years managing tenant improvement or relevant projects, construction management degree preferred, job costing proficiency, client and team management, and strong communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator. Responsibilities • Direct and oversee the start and completion of projects • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan • Assess risks and establish contingency plans • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders • Establish pricing changes/increases, gather, and organized necessary information to produce cost changes to the tenant/managers • Oversee submittal distribution and communication • Perform project buy outs with subcontractors, negotiate contracts, verify lead time items/submittals. request, receive, and review shop drawings, submittals, and submit to architect Qualifications • 4 year Construction Management degree or equivalent (preferred) • 5+ years of experience in tenant improvement interior construction or relevant project management fields • Job costing understanding, proficient, and fluent with industry standard software programs • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project • Managing of client expectations, Property Management, Leasing Agents, and Design Professionals, while maintaining customer service satisfaction • Strong communication skills • Experience working with a team
