About us Dosch King Co., Inc is a small family business in Whippany, NJ. We are a road contracting and an emulsion manufacturing company. We require a safe and competent Class A CDL driver with a clean driving record. Must be willing to transport material to and from various locations roughly 200+ miles away. Haz-Mat is preffered. Additional experience with loading and unloading of equipment is encouraged. We will provide additional training on various equipment. Truck Driver Duties: - Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers. - Transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations. - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment. - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition. - Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed. - Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. - Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries. Skills: - Route driving experience, with the ability to navigate efficiently. - Proficient in operating vehicles with manual transmissions. - Commercial driving experience, with a valid CDL A (Class A Commercial Driver's License). - Knowledge of load securement techniques. - Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. - Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures. - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
