Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Field Operations Project Manager based in New York, NY. This role will be is responsible for managing all aspects of a new installation or site modernization project – on time and within budget - after a contract is signed. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What You Will Do • Make initial contact with customers, coordinate installation schedule, physically attend pre and post construction jobsite meetings, and ensure customer training is completed when project is finished • Ensure smooth transition of project from the sales team to the fulfillment team • Manage multiple projects of varying size while coordinating work through appropriate vendors, sub-contractors, and branch staff; order materials needed for projects • Prepare project budgets, schedule and approve expenditures, analyze variances, initiate corrective actions • Maintain documents electronically including closeout documentation • Work alongside a union-based group What We Require • High school diploma or equivalent • 1+ year work experience in the automatic door or construction industry What We Prefer • 2+ years of hands-on experience in construction, automatic door installation, glazing, storefront systems work, and team supervision • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, Construction Management, or Business Administration • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification • AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) certification What We Offer • Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
