Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3900 South 7th Street location in Louisville, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our team to success. Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Manage and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently Assist in inventory management and stock control Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store Process customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records Assist in training and developing new team members Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals Implement and maintain safety and security procedures Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the food service or retail industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in basic math and problem-solving Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems Demonstrated time management and organizational skills Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Food safety certification (preferred) Additional Information What are we looking for? But here are a few skills you should have to be a successful Assistant Manager: •Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 15 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work. •A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license •A great role model - you're the person everyone will look to. From being on time for your shift, to having a great attitude to customers and co-workers and even how you dress - you have to have high standards for yourself and the rest of the team. •Our stores are open 365 days a week. Yes, that's right even on the weekends and the holidays; that's when we are busiest! While you schedule is pretty flexible, you have to be willing to work when the team needs you the most. •You have to be at least 18 years old.
