Junior Branch Operations Specialist / Manager Trainee Domino Highvoltage Supply LLC Location: Humble, Texas Branch Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Compensation:$50,000 - $60,000 Annually Reports To: Branch Manager Summary Are you a highly motivated, results-oriented professional eager to accelerate your career in sales and operations management? Domino Highvoltage Supply LLC, a leader in the distribution of high-voltage T&D electrical supplies and equipment, is seeking a driven Junior Branch Operations Specialist for our Humble, Texas branch. This is a critical, multi-faceted role designed as a pathway for future leadership, requiring a professional who is eager to learn and master multiple operational areas including Sales, Lab Technician duties, and Warehousing/Logistics. The Specialist will be instrumental in driving sales growth, ensuring product quality through technical testing, and maintaining efficient branch logistics, all while adhering to the highest standards of safety and corporate integrity. Key Responsibilities and Duties The Junior Branch Operations Specialist will manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, encompassing core branch functions: I. Sales and Customer Relationship Management • Proactively engage in direct sales activities to meet and exceed established branch revenue targets. • Manage the full sales cycle, including handling incoming customer sales calls and resolving inquiries. • Accurately generate and present comprehensive product and service quotes. • Execute consistent and rigorous follow-up on all outstanding customer quotes to close sales opportunities. • Maintain and grow the customer database by accurately creating and updating customer profiles and orders within the Inventory Management System (IMS). II. Laboratory and Quality Assurance Support • Perform various material tests and inspections using approved methods to ensure product quality and detect defects across all operating areas. • Interpret technical documents, including codes, standards, drawings, and contractual documents, to determine appropriate test/repair methods. • Operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration. • Record, evaluate, and organize inspection results, determining part acceptance or rejection and preparing detailed technical reports. • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment. III. Warehouse and Logistics Operations • Execute daily warehouse responsibilities including material receiving, order picking, packaging, and shipping. • Manage inventory control by performing cycle counts, assisting with physical inventory, and accurately entering received orders into the Business System. • Operate a forklift and company transport van to facilitate movement and delivery of materials. • Address and resolve receiving issues (e.g., shortages, overages) in communication with the Purchasing department. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards. Qualifications and RequirementsRequired • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent. • Proven eagerness to learn and handle multiple, cross-functional responsibilities (Sales, Lab, Warehouse). • Exceptional verbal communication and professional presentation skills. • High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and demonstrated accountability. • Proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, managing time and workflow effectively. • Must possess a valid driver’s license. • Responsible handling and reconciliation of corporate assets, including the corporate credit card, vehicle, and cell phone. • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. and perform manual dexterity tasks (computer use, etc.). Preferred/Qualitative Experience • Valid forklift operation license. • Prior experience in a customer service or direct sales capacity. • Experience within the high-voltage industry or a related technical distribution field. • Ability to travel as required to support business needs.
