Company Overview: Join the Dollar Tree team as a Store Associate and play a vital role in providing essential products and great value to the communities we serve. You'll contribute to the complete operations of your assigned store, from assisting with merchandising to supporting cash register operations and customer service. Your efforts will directly help us maintain a clean, safe, and positive shopping experience for everyone. Role and Responsibilities: As a Store Associate, you will be a key part of our in-store operations, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for customers. You will handle sales, manage merchandise, and maintain a secure environment. • Handle all sales transactions while operating an assigned cash register. • Maintain the security of all cash and protect all company assets. • Provide a high level of excellent customer service. • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and cooperative attitude with customers, co-workers, and supervisors. • Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks. • Work in a safe manner, adhering to and upholding all policies and procedures. Required Skills and Experience: • General math skills to accurately handle cash accounting. • Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers. • High level of integrity and honesty, particularly given the responsibility for handling cash.
