Role and Responsibilities: As a vital part of the store leadership team, you will help manage daily operations, support visual merchandising efforts, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include: • Assist with hiring and onboarding new store employees. • Support the flow of merchandise by staging, stocking, and organizing inventory. • Set up merchandise displays in line with company standards and guidance from store leadership. • Use fixtures, signage, and pricing tools effectively to present products. • Perform inventory-related tasks including markdowns, scanning, and damage reporting. • Prepare for and execute inventory counts while adhering to company ordering practices to ensure adequate stock levels. • Deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate adherence to all company policies and guidelines. • Participate in the store’s daily opening and closing routines. • Secure company funds following established cash deposit procedures. • Ensure financial accountability through accurate register use, key control, and adherence to safety protocols. • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe environment for both customers and employees. • Step in as the acting store lead in the Store Manager’s absence. • Evaluate operational reports to track performance trends and identify areas for improvement. • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork within designated timeframes. Required Skills and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred. • One year of retail experience is preferred for external applicants. • Ability to read and follow safety instructions, procedures, and manuals. • Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures. • Understanding of merchandising practices and inventory control processes. • Knowledge of facility management, safety protocols, and cash security procedures. • Awareness of legal compliance in hiring, interviewing, and staff management practices. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational capabilities. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in situations lacking standard procedures. • Spanish language skills preferred in select store locations. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience using IBM point-of-sale systems and generating store performance reports. • Proven ability to facilitate communication between store operations and support functions. • Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, and developing store associates. • Familiarity with retail store processes including inventory cycles, product flow, and staffing strategies.
