Company Overview Dollar General is now hiring Regional Delivery Driver for regional routes with weekly home time. As a member of our private fleet, you’ll play a vital role in delivering products from our distribution centers to stores nationwide. We support our drivers so they can focus on delivering value to the communities we serve. Role and Responsibilities • Operate a Class A commercial truck safely on designated regional routes. • Transport freight between Dollar General distribution centers and retail store locations, including return hauls as needed. • Ensure accurate and on-time delivery to existing and newly opened stores. • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations and policies. • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. • Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation. Required Skills and Experience • Valid CDL-A (Class A Commercial Driver’s License). • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience. Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with DOT safety regulations and compliance practices. • Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs) and onboard systems. • Previous experience with regional or store delivery routes is a plus.
