Description Job description General Manager - Dogtopia South Chandler Dogtopia South Chandler is thrilled to launch the search for a passionate, skilled General Manager. In this role, you'll drive the success of the South Chandler location while collaborating with our other Arizona-based centers to become the state’s premier daycare and boarding provider. Qualifications Proven success leading and inspiring multi-functional teams. Deep sense of accountability and ownership of outcomes. Demonstrated growth mindset with a drive for continuous learning. 3+ years in pet care and 2+ years in a leadership role (management, team development, training, and coaching experience). Responsibilities As General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in achieving operational excellence by: Leading a team of 25+ employees, including an assistant and senior team members. Creating a positive, high-performance culture where your team feels empowered to make decisions and learn from mistakes. Building a thriving community of pet parents by growing membership, profit, and contributions to the Dogtopia Foundation. Continuously seeking efficient, effective solutions to enhance operations. Overseeing key operational areas, including daycare, boarding, spa services, customer service, facilities management, scheduling, and timekeeping. Role Requirements Experience in team leadership, dog behavior, and pet health. Effective in a dynamic, high-energy environment. Strong skills in time management, soft sales, marketing, crisis management, and conflict resolution. Schedule and Compensation Full-time, with availability for holidays and weekends.
