Join DLZ Corporation and be part of a team shaping the future of municipal infrastructure! DLZ Corporation is seeking a CAD Technician to support our design operations in Logan, OH. This is primarily an office-based role where you will play a key part in preparing project base maps and detailed plans for underground utilities and a variety of municipal projects. What You’ll Do • Perform drafting assignments and create/manage complex drawings for projects. • Prepare layouts, details, and markups for revisions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. • Gather and apply project data, including conducting field measurements and reviews using modern tools. • Assist with preliminary calculations, quantity take-offs, and preparation of as-built drawings; review contractor submittals. • Collaborate with Project Managers, Professional Surveyors, Engineers, and Technicians throughout all project phases. • Maintain digital files and documentation in cloud-based platforms and support sustainability and safety standards. • Mentor junior staff and share best practices (based on experience). • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure project success. What We’re Looking For • High School diploma required, Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred. • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in computer-aided drafting. • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; familiarity with civil engineering or municipal projects is a plus. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
