Position: Recruiting Specialist Position Location: Remote - work virtually from anywhere in the United States SALARY DLB recognizes salary ranges from job boards do not necessarily reflect our pay ranges. JOB SUMMARY The Recruiting Specialist will support full-cycle recruiting and proactive candidate sourcing for a wide range of technical and project-based roles, including mechanical and electrical engineers, designers, commissioning specialists, field technicians, and other operations and support staff. As a member of the HR team, the Recruiting Specialist will partner closely with hiring teams to understand the technical and logistical requirements of each role. This position will be responsible for sourcing qualified talent, posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and delivering a smooth, professional candidate experience through onboarding. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional with a strong foundation in talent acquisition and experience supporting both consulting and field-based environments within the engineering industry. The Recruiting Specialist will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects, tasks or assignments. May work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. May serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS High Volume Recruiting / Schedule Coordination/ Sourcing (90%) • Independently manage full-cycle recruitment for 20–30 active job requisitions, including reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and coordinating all interview logistics. • Proactively source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, and other sourcing channels to build qualified pipelines for hard to fill and high priority roles. • Manage a high volume of recruitment-related emails and communications, ensuring timely follow-up with candidates and hiring teams. • Draft and send offer letters, benefit summaries, and initiate background checks and other pre-employment screenings. • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and internal records. • Own the process of collecting interviewer feedback post-interview, ensuring timely responses and clear communication with hiring teams. • Update and organize the job description library in collaboration with HR and department leads. • Provide timely communication and a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Human Resources Support (10%) • Provide general HR support, research assistance, and administrative support as needed. • Support employee engagement initiatives. • Work collaboratively to assist with documenting HR procedures and processes with an eye toward streamlining and automating where possible to improve department efficiency tasks to support team priorities and business needs. Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget Performs other related duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS (ADVANCED LEVEL FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED) • Demonstrated experience recruiting and sourcing for engineering, commissioning, and other highly technical roles within consulting, design, or field-based environments • Proven ability to source technical talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and specialized technical communities • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with candidates and hiring managers • Proficiency using an applicant tracking system to manage pipelines, track candidate activity, and maintain accurate records • Knowledge of human resource processes and best practices • Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management to support our software defined organization • Comfort working in a fast paced, remote environment with a high degree of independence and accountability • Skilled in using Rippling ATS • Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail • Skilled in leveraging technology in new and creative ways to solve routine tasks or problems • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace PHYSICAL DEMANDS The following physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is • Frequently required to remain in a stationary position • Frequently moving through home office TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Up to 10%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states • Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meeting for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field OR • A recognized HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) AND • A minimum of five years of professional recruiting and sourcing experience supporting engineering, commissioning, and other highly technical roles.
