Help us ignite the future of data synchronization as a Senior Sales Engineer at Ditto! The Senior Sales Engineer will help clients understand our Edge Sync Platform, undertake technical evaluations and integrate Ditto into existing Enterprise architectures. You should become the trusted technical adviser to your Ditto sales colleagues as well as your customers, assisting both in qualifying the appropriateness of Ditto solutions. You will work closely with highly skilled engineers and product managers, encounter many different kinds of problems, recognize patterns, provide product feedback, contribute to documentation, shape processes, and help guide the evolution of the Ditto product itself to meet our customers' needs. As the trusted technical advisor to Ditto customers and prospects, you should help them undertake design and development of their complete solution ensuring they get the best solution to their needs, taking into account the unique requirements of each account. You must take responsibility for clearly articulating our technical and product positioning to any audience at any level of an organization, tailoring your approach appropriately and striving to build trust and strong relationships. As a Senior Sales Engineer, What You’ll Be Up To… Work effectively and in partnership with your Sales colleagues, helping them to qualify opportunities and technical fit Be comfortable presenting to both technical and business stakeholders on the unique capabilities of Ditto Be an advocate for your customers’ needs and requirements, and engage effectively with other teams at Ditto to ensure the customers’ successful deployment of our platform Pre-empt challenges in adopting our solutions and assist customers and prospects in designing their systems in such a way as to avoid issues on their path to production Recognize patterns and effectively categorize and create links between related issues and projects Be able to get “hands on” with code on at least one mobile platform What Helps You Thrive… Genuine desire to help people succeed with technology Experience working in a Sales team and with Sales professionals A good understanding of typical Enterprise software architectures and backend systems, including the interfaces between backend and mobile Ability to learn a wide variety of technical skills, and minimally, Android or iOS development Excellent technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are critical as you will be working with developers with very diverse backgrounds, as well as with a highly technical engineering team Visual communication skills with PowerPoint, Keynote, and virtual whiteboarding tools An understanding of cloud computing environments, technologies and networking. Read and understand the intent of code and stack traces in one or more of these technologies; Swift, Kotlin or Javascript Comfortably navigate through Linux systems using a shell Great-to-Haves… Pre-existing Mobile Development experience. An understanding of Offline/Local First development paradigm. Real world knowledge of distributed data systems. Base Salary Range $100,000—$150,000 USD On-Target Earnings (OTE) $145,000—$245,000 USD Pay Transparency at Ditto Ditto uses a location-based compensation model. This means pay ranges for the same role may vary depending on where you live, based on cost of living and market data.The ranges you see on our job postings represent the full span of target compensation across all markets where we hire.
