Job Description: • Design, build, and maintain performant backend services in TypeScript. • Support and optimize backend systems for mobile native applications. • Integrate and manage services like PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS SQS, and Centrifugo. • Work with OpenAI APIs and other AI frameworks to build intelligent, personalized user experiences. • Collaborate with the lead AI backend engineer to shape and evolve our AI infrastructure. • Ensure high system reliability, security, and observability across services. • Own and drive end-to-end feature development with a strong eye on user experience. • Champion clean code, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Requirements: • 5+ years of backend development experience. • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript. • Experience with functional programming. • Deep experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and service-based architectures. • Strong background integrating with AI tools, especially OpenAI. • Experience supporting and scaling native mobile app backends. • Proven ability to work independently while closely collaborating with key teammates. • Passion for building systems that deliver exceptional customer experiences. • Strong debugging, testing, and performance-tuning skills.
