DisruptiX Talent Solutions is conducting a direct hire search on behalf of a well-established, privately held real estate investment and operating company with a long-standing presence in the commercial real estate industry. This is a hands-on Accounting Manager role supporting a complex real estate portfolio consisting of over 100 legal entities across property management, development and asset management operations. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller and will oversee a small team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with real estate accounting experience who is looking to step into a leadership role with long-term career growth potential. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple real estate entities • Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, including work review and performance support • Ensure compliance with loan agreements, lender reporting requirements, and ownership reporting • Review bank reconciliations, cash flow reports, and job cost tracking for development projects • Support construction accounting activities, including loan draws and project cost monitoring • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Partner closely with property management and asset management teams on financial reporting and operational support • Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors and tax professionals • Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and accounting system initiatives Qualifications: • CPA designation required • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • Minimum 6+ years of accounting experience • Direct real estate accounting experience required (owner-operator or developer environment strongly preferred) • Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff preferred • Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles • Experience working with multiple legal entities and consolidations • Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar real estate accounting software preferred • Advanced Excel skills required • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment Compensation & Benefits: • Base salary: $120,000 – $130,000 • Annual bonus eligibility • Direct hire, full-time position • Stable, long-term career opportunity with growth potential This is a confidential search conducted by DisruptiX Talent Solutions.
