What You'll Do: - You will conduct comprehensive information security risk assessments across various business units. - You will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. - You will collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to ensure security policies are effectively enforced. - You will monitor emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to protect organizational assets. - You will lead incident response efforts related to information security breaches. - You will prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on risk status and mitigation progress. - You will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - You will provide training and guidance to staff on information security risk management principles. What You Bring: - You have at least 5 years of experience in information security risk management or a related field. - You possess strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS. - You have experience conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans. - You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex security concepts. - You are proficient with security tools and technologies used for risk analysis and monitoring. - You hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a telecommute or remote work environment. - Background in the healthcare or biopharma industry. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA or GDPR. - Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
