Telecommunications Network Engineer - Senior Clearance: Active Secret Location: Remote (with occasional travel) We're looking for a Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer to support enterprise LAN environments across both U.S. and international locations. This role supports the full lifecycle of network operations - including planning, engineering, day-to-day support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and modernization. You'll work with a variety of network infrastructure components such as switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other devices that keep the network running securely and efficiently. Some wireless access points are located in large warehouse settings, so you may occasionally work from lifts or elevated platforms to access equipment. This position is hands-on and focused on sustaining and improving the performance, security, and availability of the network. The environment supports voice, data, video, and telecommunications services, so reliability and uptime are key. Experience supporting cloud-integrated environments is a plus. Senior-level responsibilities include: Leading and contributing to network design, implementation, and analysis Managing the evaluation and cost estimation of voice and data services from carriers Designing access and backbone networks using carrier solutions Supporting the design or analysis of wireless voice or data networks Providing technical direction and reviewing work products for accuracy and compliance Preparing status updates and communicating progress to leadership and stakeholders Required Certifications IA Level: IAT-II Computing Environment: CCNP, CCWP, or similar senior-level Cisco certifications Preferred Education BA/BS degree Experience Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience LAN/WAN engineering and configuration Network infrastructure hardware (switches, firewalls, routers, wireless controllers, access points) Cisco network environments (design, implementation, or support) Diagnosing and resolving complex network issues Monitoring network performance and managing lifecycle upgrades Supporting cloud-connected or hybrid network environments Evaluating carrier-provided services (voice/data circuits, MPLS, fiber, broadband, etc.) Designing access and backbone networks using carrier solutions Experience with wireless voice or data network design or analysis Technical leadership or oversight of network implementation teams Communicating technical details to leadership, engineers, and end users Clearance: Active Secret If you thrive on solving complex problems and building meaningful connections, we'd love to hear from you.
