DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and strategically minded Sales and Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of its Commercial Dealer Sales Vertical. Here's what you'll do: Strategic Sales & Revenue Generation • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with DIRECTV's objectives in the commercial dealer vertical. • Drive customer acquisition through proactive engagement and training. • Manage and expand a pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets with focus on national accounts. • Assure we are maximizing revenue by focusing on high quality subs for growth. Business Development & Market Expansion • Dealer management, marketing planning and execution. • Assisting dealers with company sales processes to drive growth. • Working with Distributor Partner to onboard new dealers through MSO program and directly. • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential dealer partners. • Help define stream strategy and assure best practices for regional vertical. Account & Partner Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts within regional team. Direct liaison between dealer partner and director of sales. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee implementation, activation, and ongoing service performance. • Develop, train, implement, and manage sales incentive and marketing programs. • Responsible for recruiting new distribution. • Implement quality control metrics to ensure all dealers across the regional vertical obtain low churn. Internal Collaboration & Reporting • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership regarding pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and strategic initiatives. • Gather key reports and trends to inform team and key dealers of quality performance for both satellite and stream sales. • Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and dealer events. • Monitor dealer quality and compliance. • Work with fraud management and act as commercial dealer POC for bounty program. What you'll need to be successful: Education • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, preferably within the telecommunications, media, satellite, mobility, cable, or internet sectors. • Demonstrated success in managing partners and a region/territory. • Background must include proven results in recruiting and territory development. Skills & Competencies • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with a solution-oriented approach. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. • Flexible, innovative, and the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment. • Data analysis and strong technology background in Power Point and Excel is a must. May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer's proprietary data. This role requires a minimum, but is not limited to approximately 50% travel. The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
