Associate Program Manager - Meetings & Events Your Destination This position is a Remote position. Your Expedition (position overview) As a key member of the Direct Travel Meeting & Events team, the Associate Program Manager will be responsible for assisting and contributing to planning meetings/incentives in an entry level and administrative role. This role will work closely with clients and a team of program managers and report to the team operations manager. Going the Extra Mile (Responsibilities) * Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Cvent * Manage Website Registration Sites, Databases and Attendee Management * Orchestrate Travel Arrangements for Attendees * Draft program documents and communication for programs * Draft Timelines for meetings and incentives * Prepare close out reports as it pertains to our client service requirements. * Draft Post Con or Meeting History Reports * Begin Reconciliation Checklist Coordination * Conduct file audit processes/procedures * Manage the expense reimbursement process and vendor payment requests * Negotiate agreements and terms with vendors for the health of the event budget * Demonstrate industry knowledge by contributing effective ideas Your Passport to Success (Qualifications) * College degree preferred * 1-3 years experience in Meetings & Incentives or the hospitality industry. * Proficient with Windows operation system and variety of software programs * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Time management and organizational skills * High level of detail orientation * Strong customer service skills * Excellent leadership skills * Strong quality control management * Self-motivated and ambitious * Prior experience working with attendee management systems preferred * Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to changing procedures, methods or processes and assist in teaching others.
