Senior Sourcing and Product Development Specialist Our client is an award-winning, medical-based company that delivers superior safety solutions on a global scale to healthcare, hospitality and food service industries. They are seeking to hire a Senior Sourcing and Product Development Specialist responsible for leading new product sourcing and development efforts for the organization. Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance. In this role you will, identify global sourcing opportunities and drive innovation while ensuring compliances and regulations. Role reports to an office. Responsibilities: • Focus on strategic growth and business objectives in identifying and qualifying suppliers • Ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery by negotiating supply terms, pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times • Continuous improvement efforts; monitor supplier performance, make recommendations • Project management; collaborate with supplier, lead new product development and manage project lifecycle • Drive project success and on-time completion in collaboration with suppliers; ensure alignment with business initiatives • Partner with internal depts. to make certain product designs meet all required specifications and standards Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree required • Min. 5+ years of Product Sourcing experience within Global Supply Chain • Supplier Relationship experience • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines • Excellent Project Management and Communication skills • Excellent Negotiation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint) Offering: • Base Salary $70,000 - $90,000 (based on experience) • Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision), 401K • PTO Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC, (DSR) and DirectHR are National Recruitment organizations partnering with National, Regional and Local Clients to bring qualified candidates a career and a future.
