Dimensional Metals, Inc., www.dmimetals.com, a leading manufacturer of commercial metal roof and wall systems is seeking a Territory Manager to market our complete product line in New York, New Jersey, and central and eastern Pennsylvania. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated sales professional to grow our existing business while expanding our present customer base. The individual will work with professional roofing contractors, architects, specifiers, consultants, building owners and facility engineers. This is technical-based sales. Job Description This position is responsible for understanding and developing their assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits. This is done by selling DMI’s products and services to existing customers and acquiring new business. This individual works to ensures consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning, organization, and management. Essential Functions 1. Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers to promote company products and services. 2. Build and maintain solid working relationships with customers by ensuring their needs are met and resolving issues in a timely manner. 3. Continually meet or exceed sales goals by building a relationship with customers within assigned territory to purchase company products and services. 4. Gather information on projects bidding in territory to create sales quotes. Including the use of provided take-off software to estimate required materials and quantities on bidding projects. 5. Read and understand specifications for materials on bidding projects to ensure the quoted information will meet the specified conditions. 6. Present educational courses to architects for Continuing Education credits as well as potential customers. 7. Provide technical data, product information, and application for all company products. 8. Attend and host trade shows to promote company products and services. 9. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports. 10. Professional communication with all departments within the company. 11. Effectively work from home office. 12. Safely move about working construction sites including ladders, scaffolding, and roofs. Days and hours of work are Monday thru Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. In addition, will be required to work some additional hours as needed including an occasional weekend. Travel This position requires extensive travel with driving throughout the territory including overnight stays.
