Job Title: UI Engineer Location: Remote (Preferably Bay Area, CA) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract We are seeking an experienced UI Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates based in the Bay Area, CA. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop responsive, high-quality web applications. • Build scalable UI components using modern front-end frameworks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on full-stack development, design, and code reviews. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs. • Contribute to big data application interfaces. • Ensure code quality through unit testing and CI/CD practices. Required Qualifications: • 6+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related extensions. • 4+ years of UI/UX web development experience using Angular, Bootstrap, and Node/Express. • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, or Jest. • Experience with development tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Maven, and Jenkins. • Experience with Django or Spring Boot and RESTful services. • Exposure to full-stack development and working with big data applications. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Vue and/or React. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Comfortable working both independently and in collaborative team settings.
