Job Requirements • Extensive Equities Expertise - 20–25+ years of senior-level experience in global equities markets, ideally at Managing Director or equivalent level within a leading bank, exchange, or market infrastructure. • End-to-End Knowledge - Deep understanding of the equities lifecycle - issuance, trading, clearing, settlement, custody, post-trade operations - as well as ETF, fund and structured product creation and distribution. • Strategic Track Record - Demonstrated ability to define and lead market strategy, design new products and services, and influence industry adoption. • Relationship Network - Strong existing relationships with senior executives at major equities market participants and regulators. • Regulatory and Policy Acumen - Knowledge of key regulations and policy frameworks shaping global equity markets, particularly in the U.S., and major European and Asian markets. • Operational Insight -Detailed knowledge of market infrastructure and “plumbing,” including clearing, collateral, and settlement processes. • Communication Excellence - Exceptional ability to craft and deliver polished, executive-level presentations, strategy documents, and external communications. • Industry Presence - Experience as a recognized voice in the industry through conferences, panels, interviews, or thought leadership. • Global Mindset - Willingness and ability to travel internationally and engage with clients and regulators across global financial centers. • Collaborative Leadership - Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance complex, multi-party solutions. Job Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced senior executive with deep expertise in the global equities markets to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, this role will play a critical part in developing and executing strategies that bring equity market participants into the Canton Network, creating innovative use cases across trading, settlement, post-trade services, and new product structures. • Market Strategy and Use Case Development - Define and lead the development of detailed, actionable use cases for the equities market across the trade lifecycle—trading, clearing, settlement, custody, post-trade services, ETFs and structured products. • Client and Market Engagement - Drive consultative, senior-level discussions with global market participants, including exchanges, broker-dealers, custodians, asset managers, regulators, and infrastructure providers. • Industry Relationships - Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, boards, and regulators, positioning Digital Asset as a key partner in market transformation. • Multi-Party Solution Design - Identify the right mix of market participants for each use case and bring them together to co-create solutions on the Canton Network. • Execution Leadership - Lead discussions on the legal, regulatory, accounting, and operational aspects of market implementations to ensure solutions are practical and industry-ready. • Industry Presence and Thought Leadership - Represent Digital Asset and Canton Network at industry conferences, on panels, in podcasts, blogs, and media interviews as a credible and authoritative voice on the future of equities and blockchain. • Executive-Level Communication - Create polished, professional-quality strategy papers, presentations, and client discussion materials to drive high-impact dialogue and decision-making. • Collaboration - Work closely with internal colleagues in Sales, Client Experience, Product, Engineering, and across Digital Asset’s subject matter experts to align opportunities with Canton’s technology capabilities and the broader Canton Network strategy. The range may vary if based outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). Base salaries are determined during our interview process, during which we assess the candidate's experience, skills, and capabilities against internal peers and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
