Candidates should have a background in AEM Sites with experience in Edge Delivery and Adobe I/O Runtime. Knowledge of CDN, HTTP caching, and technical SEO at scale is essential.

Enable production to run Edge Delivery and Sling Sites concurrently. Deliver SEO parity and a clean migration path. Partner with IT and a front‑end blocks contractor. This is a 6 month contract position What you will do Audit current Edge Delivery config and setup (e.g. repo, envs, secrets, and headers) Finalize or work with IT to configure AEM origin or DA origin (e.g. fstab, routes, domains, preview vs publish, and CI for production) Build BYOM and Adobe I/O Runtime/App Builder actions that emit block‑compatible HTML Set purge keys and invalidation hooks across both stacks Select and integrate search backend (AEM GraphQL/persisted queries, AEM Assets API, or hosted search such as Elastic) Define index schema for pages and assets; build indexers and backfill jobs; wire publish hooks for incremental updates Expose BYOM/App Builder endpoints for search, filtering, sorting, pagination, and facets Canonicalize query URLs; set robots/noindex rules for search results; log queries, clicks, and zero‑result terms Cache strategy and purge keys for search endpoints; handle auth for protected content What you will have AEM Sites background with Sling and HTL Edge Delivery, BYOM, Adobe I/O Runtime or App Builder AEM GraphQL Content Fragments and persisted queries CDN and HTTP caching. Headers, cookies, CORS. Technical SEO at scale. Canonicals, hreflang, robots, sitemaps, JSON‑ GitHub and CI.
