Candidates should have familiarity with ticketing systems and a strong understanding of networking protocols. Excellent communication skills and a proactive security mindset are essential.

Job summary We are seeking an Associate Information Security Engineer to support our ever-growing customer base. The Associate Information Security Engineer provides DDoS detection and mitigation services for DigiCert and customer's networks. They also provide all Customer Support capabilities for the UltraSecurity service. This is a Day Shift position with hours of 6am – 4pm EST; Sunday - Wednesday What you will do Exhibit a proactive security mindset to defend customer networks from DDoS attacks. Assist with complex attacks to refine mitigation strategies. Monitor customer networks and mitigate DDoS attacks. Monitor the SOC ticket queue and proactively take action to protect DigiCert and customer networks. Answer the phone queue for Tier 1 support for UltraDDoS and UltraWAF customers. What you will have Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as Zendesk. Fluent in writing and speaking English Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to engage in continuous learning and applying strong analytical skills to respond to customer needs and problem-solving. Understanding of IPv4, low level networking and protocols, to include DNS and BGP. Understanding of and ability to explain the OSI Model.
