Role Overview: As a Field Service Manager, you will lead and manage a team of service technicians to ensure the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of automated machinery. Your role is critical in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the operational success of our clients' manufacturing processes. What You'll Do: - You will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field service technicians. - You will ensure timely and effective resolution of customer service issues related to automated machinery. - You will develop and implement service protocols and best practices. - You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machinery performance. - You will manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for your team. - You will maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and support. - You will oversee the documentation and reporting of service activities. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years experience in field service management or a related supervisory role. - Strong technical knowledge of automated machinery, manufacturing production lines, and assembly processes. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. - Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Proficient in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in packaging machinery and processing automation. - Background in manufacturing engineering or production management. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. - Technical certifications related to automation or machinery maintenance.
