Job Overview We're seeking a conscientious and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Fairview Clinic Family Medicine team. We welcome applications from new graduates and experienced candidates alike. Minimum Requirements Include: • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program • State license for Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) training • Strong verbal communication skills, good organization skills, and attention to detail. Duties to Include (But Not Limited to): • Room patients, take and record vital signs, obtain medical history and any other pertinent information, and enter this information into the electronic medical record (Epic) • List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the primary care provider. • Maintain timely flow of patients. • Respond to and triage incoming telephone calls. • Instruct patient and family regarding treatment instruction.
