We are looking for a Project Manager Specialist with experience in the contract furniture industry to join our dynamic team and ensure our customers an excellent project experience. Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Project Management Specialist for a full-time on-site role at our corporate office in Houston, TX. The specialist will oversee project planning, management, and execution with particular focus on projects tied to government contracts (GSA) and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project objectives are met. Effective communication and coordination with various internal departments and strategic partners will be essential to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Execution: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. • Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, designers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Furniture Procurement: Oversee product specifications, quoting, ordering, and delivery schedules; collaborate with our operations team and strategic vendors. • Installation Oversight: Coordinate and manage installation schedules, site readiness, and punch list resolution. • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, contracts, schedules, and change orders. • Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve issues related to product delays, installation challenges, or client concerns. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure project alignment and success. Qualifications • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in program management • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate and manage project data • Effective communication and negotiation for team coordination and stakeholder management • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines • Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is a plus • 3–5+ years of experience in project management within the contract furniture or commercial interiors industry preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Business, or related field preferred.
