OVERVIEW: The Senior Data & Insights Analyst supports the athlete (customer) analytics portfolio and serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology partners within a domain. With guidance, but largely operating autonomously in both work creation & stakeholder engagement, this individual is responsible for developing data-led strategic analyses to unearth insights and findings to inform business decisions, servicing ad-hoc analytics requests & stakeholder questions, and contributing to analytical initiatives and deliverables. The Senior Data & Insights Analyst demonstrates proficiency across all analytical methods, and works efficiently and effectively with little direction, delivering impactful analytics to realize value for the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analytics & Testing Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and holistic narratives that inform business decisions. Design, execute, and measure personalized campaigns across Email, Site, App, SMS, and Push. Leverage common tools (e.g. SQL, GCP, Excel) and/or vendor platforms to query, join, and manipulate data for comprehensive reporting and storytelling. Define and maintain KPIs to assess personalization effectiveness, campaign performance, omni-channel impact, and base health. Identify and size new marketing opportunities through deep-dive analytics to optimize personalization and prioritize initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams. Ensure data integrity and stewardship, maintaining clean and accurate data across multiple sources. Advocate for a culture of experimentation, educating stakeholders on testing principles, and explore AI/ML-driven approaches to enhance targeting, predict outcomes, and personalize athlete experiences. Business Stakeholder Support Develop and deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to business stakeholders, while also serving as subject matter expert around personalization business metric and trend interpretations. Lead and support formal and informal training sessions with client groups to enable business stakeholders to answer questions via self-service tools such as Intera (internal BI tool) and PowerBI. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred in Economics, Statistics, Liberal Arts or Related Field General Experience: 4+ Years of Experience in SQL, R, Python Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) GCP or Azure Experience #LI-FD VIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS: At DICK’S, we thrive on innovation and authenticity. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
