We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Estimator with strong expertise in ductwork for commercial construction projects. This is a remote position, ideal for someone who excels in accurately estimating material, labor, and equipment costs for HVAC sheet metal scopes. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to prepare detailed proposals, analyze bid documents, and ensure competitive, accurate estimates. Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed cost estimates for ductwork and sheet metal systems on commercial projects. • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents. • Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements. • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies. • Maintain knowledge of current industry pricing, labor rates, and market trends. Qualifications: • 5+ years of estimating experience in sheet metal/HVAC. • Strong knowledge of ductwork systems and fabrication. • Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
