Traveling Mechanical Construction Superintendent – Houston, TX A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a Mechanical Construction Superintendent to lead large-scale HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects across Texas. This role is ideal for a seasoned field leader based in Houston or within a couple of hours, though relocation candidates are welcome. Role Overview • Full field responsibility for large commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical projects • Oversight of HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes • Leadership of Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews • Production planning, scheduling, manpower management, and quality/safety oversight • Coordination with Project Management, owners, and inspectors • Travel across Texas based on project needs Project Types • Healthcare facilities • Manufacturing / industrial plants • Education campuses • Data centers • Government buildings • Large commercial projects What We’re Looking For • 5+ years mechanical field supervision experience • Experience managing large commercial, industrial, or institutional mechanical projects • Proven leadership of large crews and multi-trade field teams • Strong background in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems • Based in Houston or within ~2 hours; relocation candidates welcome • Ability to own jobsite production, schedule, and safety Why This Opportunity • Lead complex, high-profile mechanical projects • Work with a well-established, financially strong contractor • Strong project pipeline across Texas • Competitive compensation and travel support 📩 Interested in learning more?
