DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our highly competent team. This individual will work with clients, partners, engineers, and the sales team to lead IT solution projects such as migrations, deployments, assessments/surveys, technology modernization as well as internal strategic and continuous improvement projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires an individual that is highly motivated, has an in-depth knowledge of the technical solutions and how they are deployed, has a proven track record of successful project management, has the ability to oversee and guide project teams to deliver high-quality results, and has excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Successful execution and delivery of client experience and project outcomes Manage client relationships through the delivery lifecycle (Bid – Completion) Partner with internal and external parties to define the approach and scope of projects Safeguard and manage project delivery experience Prepare the delivery team for project preparation with tools of defined milestones and project plans that align with the scope of work Deliver client work product that has been peer-reviewed to DGR Standards Manage project scope and implement change control procedures across the team to ensure that changes to deliverables or functionality are handled appropriately Identify issues and assess project risks quickly and proactively, taking appropriate actions as required Proactively (timely and accurately) report project status and potential risk concerns to DGR leadership inclusive of individual performance Identify opportunities to drive project delivery efficiency and enhance customer experience Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members Other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, is required 5 years of proven experience with client-facing and project/product management Ability to understand the why of project delivery methodologies and approaches and develop low-friction means of achieving adherence to them from internal and external participants Ability to understand and proactively manage emotional quotient (EQ) of the client experience during the project lifecycle Ability to stay nimble, flexible, adaptable to safeguard client experience and quality project deliverables Experience with project management methodologies and the standards set by the PMBOK Experience safeguarding the delivery of IT projects which align with the contract’s scope, schedule, and budget Detailed knowledge and experience in the use of multiple Microsoft Office Products, including collaborative applications such as MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Demonstrated professionalism in writing, communication, and presentation skills Ability to manage several different projects at various stages with ease Attention to detail and focus ability to protect against avoidable issues High emotional intelligence to be able to work in stressful situations with top-priority outcomes Client service orientation Ability to work effectively within a remote environment and with remote team members Experience using MS Dynamics Project Operations to manage projects highly preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
