Full Description

WHO WE ARE: DGOPC LAW FIRM is a law firm dedicated to providing legal advice and representation to clients throughout the world. DGOPC’s core values are rooted in client-centered, tech-savvy, innovative, detailed-oriented, documented, and data- driven approaches designed to provide superior service. We aim to create an open environment where all members of the team can communicate openly with one another while maintaining professionalism and accountability for their work. We provide our clients with personalized attention while offering them competitive rates through efficient use of technology. We are committed to providing an exceptional level of service with a focus on meticulous attention to detail combined with creativity and innovation. We are not a traditional law firm, we thrive on innovation and disrupting the status quo. Our focus is to expand the availability of legal services to the 70%+ of individuals unable to access legal services. We do that by leveraging technology to the full extent possible while maintaining a human and personal touch with our clients. We use every communication tool at our disposal and at our client's disposal. We are immigrants and have a personal connection to our client's cases. We have walked the same path before and can intimately empathize with the fears, doubts, and excitement of the immigration journey to the United States. WHO YOU ARE: We are looking for an experienced associate to join our growing team. You will find a home with us if you live, breathe, and dream about the law. Legal developments actually excite you, and you strive to always be on top of the latest decisions and newly promulgated laws. You see your job as a lawyer as a mission to ensure that your client is at the center of the experience. It's not only about winning cases, it’s about the holistic client experience, from onboarding, representation, and offboarding. You frown when documents are poorly formatted, punctuation is off and there's one too many mistakes. The peculiarities of the English language fascinate you, you get excited when you learn a new word, and when you can use it in your latest brief. Words are your craft, and you relentlessly work to get better at it. You like orderly and predictable processes that are teachable and lead to exponential growth. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with people around you and thrive on building up other people. When it looks like there's a dead-end, you don't turn off your car and give up. Instead, you start digging a hole seeing where it'll lead you. You look for solutions, not excuses. You may not know everything, but if there's an answer to the question you are researching, you will find it. Even if you don't succeed, you can safely tell yourself that you tried your best. You take your job extremely seriously but are sufficiently lighthearted to remember your humanity, laugh at other people's jokes, and remember to have fun. If that sounds like you, then we may be a match.
