Treasury Management Operations Support II-III Location: Roseville, CA 95661, USA Department: Treasury Management Position Overview The Treasury Management (TM) Operations Support III is a senior lead role responsible for the efficiency, accuracy, and growth of the Bank’s Treasury Management department. This individual acts as a subject matter expert, possessing advanced knowledge of all TM services, including RDC, ACH, Positive Pay, Wires, and Cash Management tools. In addition to executing complex operational tasks, this role supports Business Development Officers (BDOs) through the entire sales cycle—from creating proformas to leading onsite client training. As a senior team member, you will also play a critical role in mentoring junior staff, writing departmental procedures, and ensuring audit readiness, while maintaining exceptional client relationships. Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Support Complex Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new and existing commercial clients, including complex multi-entity relationships and Smart Safe/Armored Carrier prospects. Client Training: Conduct comprehensive training for clients on TM products, rules, and regulations. Accompany BDOs on site visits and assist with internal staff training at branches. Relationship Management: Oversee the TM Services email inbox and voicemail to ensure timely, high-quality responses. Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction. Documentation: Ensure all client files are compliant, agreements are collected, and documentation is maintained to track updates to relationships. Operational Excellence & Reporting Transaction Processing: Execute and reconcile daily operational tasks including Armored Carrier deposits, RDC processing, ACH processing (returns, pass-thru deposits), and Positive Pay exceptions. Risk Management: Analyze account activity data to risk-rate ACH and RDC clients periodically; identify activity issues and recommend limit updates. Use proficient knowledge to identify risk prevention solutions. Financial Analysis: Review complex bank statements to identify client needs, create proformas for proposals, and process third-party vendor fees. Reporting: Create and manage custom reports in CRM BI. Review monthly/quarterly department checklists and tracking logs for accuracy before submission. Systems & Compliance System Proficiency: maintain expert-level proficiency in Fiserv DNA, Q2 Console, ETMS, Centrix PIQs, and Weiland. Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and lead projects to resolve them. Assist in the creation and updating of departmental procedures. Audit Prep: Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with all Bank policies, state, and federal banking regulations. Reconciliation: Review and approve daily reconciliations alongside the TM Operations Manager to ensure outages are handled immediately. Leadership & Mentorship Mentoring: Provide daily guidance, training, and support to TM Operations Support Level I & II staff, ensuring team alignment on processes and compliance. Sales Support: Work closely with BDOs and Front Line staff to support sales goals and present analysis proformas. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Treasury Management Services or banking operations, with a strong focus on processing and product operations. Mentorship: Minimum of 1 year of experience providing training or mentoring within an operations environment. Certification: ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment). Technical Skills: Proficiency with Weiland, Fiserv, and Q2 is highly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Soft Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Leadership: proven ability to act as a functional lead, presenting a professional image and fostering a positive team culture.
