This high-impact role is focused on expanding the domestic supplier base and driving down the total cost of ownership for spare parts and components across the U.S. market. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and manage a strong network of U.S.-based suppliers across mechanical, electrical, standard parts, and assemblies • Align with global sourcing teams to adapt international strategies to the U.S. market • Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing) to support business priorities • Define supplier selection criteria and conduct market research • Lead RFQs, conduct TCO analyses, and benchmark suppliers • Oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, and ramp-up • Negotiate contracts, manage performance metrics, and lead regular business reviews • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives aligned with corporate sourcing strategy Must-Have Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years of sourcing, procurement, or supplier development experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment • Strong background in mechanical and electrical components, standard parts, and assemblies • Proven success in supplier evaluation, performance management, and contract negotiation • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP a plus) • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Comfortable working in a matrixed, international organization • Willingness to travel 30–40% domestically and internationally • Spanish proficiency is a plus This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of U.S. sourcing strategy and make a direct impact on cost, quality, and supplier performance.
