This is a hybrid, full-time role that is more design-focused and office-based, with some on-site collaboration as needed. The ideal candidate will combine project management skills with a strong understanding of plumbing systems design, serving as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: • Support the design and planning of plumbing systems for commercial projects. • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure designs meet code compliance, functionality, and project specifications. • Prepare, review, and manage technical drawings, submittals, and project documentation. • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards. • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support during the design and pre-construction phases. • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for project-related needs. • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing progress updates and addressing issues proactively. • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3–5+ years of experience in plumbing design, project management, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and design standards. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software. • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment. Preferred: • Prior experience with design-build plumbing projects. • Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward certification. • Experience in both office-based project design and limited field coordination.
