Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a .NET Backend Developer (Hybrid in Houston TX or Chicago) for an opportunity with a client located in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core • Create and optimize database schemas and queries, typically using SQL Server or similar • Optimize application performance, ensure data security, and implement best practices for scalability • Work with frontend developers, testers, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment • Perform unit testing and debug code to ensure high-quality, bug-free applications • Maintain documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Requirements: • Strong proficiency in C# • In-depth knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core • Proficiency in SQL and database design (e.g., MS SQL Server) • Experience with version control (Git), RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms like Azure • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns • Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines • Experience in high-traffic application optimization • Recent experience with Backend .Net Development (.NET Core 8.0) • AWS (development exp) • DynamoDB • PostgreSQL • Knowledge on real-time data systems • Airline experience highly preferred • 6+ month contract (expected to extend long-term) • Hybrid in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL 2 days per week onsite Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
