Summary: Dexera Group is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager to lead and oversee global operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end freight forwarding activities, optimizing carrier networks, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in global logistics. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily freight forwarding operations across international shipments (air, ocean, and ground) • Oversee carrier procurement, rate negotiation, and relationship management with carriers, brokers, and partners • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and security programs (e.g., USMCA, CTPAT) • Develop and implement SOPs to standardize processes and improve service performance • Monitor and drive KPIs such as transit time, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency • Lead issue resolution and serve as escalation point for customers and internal teams • Collaborate with sales to support pricing, RFPs, and customer solutions • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for freight operations • Optimize use of TMS and visibility tools to improve tracking and reporting • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred) • 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL operations • Strong knowledge of international shipping (air/ocean) operations • Experience with customs compliance and trade regulations • Proven experience managing carriers and negotiating rates • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills • Experience with TMS platforms and logistics technology Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a freight forwarding or 3PL environment • Background in international program development or operations Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
