Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the organization's goals and objectives. • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and partners. • Oversee fundraising initiatives, including grant proposal writing and donor engagement strategies. • Utilize CRM software to track interactions and maintain accurate records of relationships. • Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities and community needs. • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance public relations efforts and promote organizational initiatives. • Ensure effective customer service practices are upheld across all interactions with stakeholders. • Maintain databases for tracking donations, grants, and other relevant information. This is staring as commission-based position, ideal for entrepreneurial-minded individuals who thrive on results, relationship-building, and measurable impact. What is a Fundraiser? A Fundraiser is a person who solicits contributions or pledges. In this role, you will focus on: • Actively reaching out to individuals, corporations, and foundations for immediate support. • Driving campaigns, events, and appeals that generate revenue. • Hitting and exceeding fundraising targets through effective solicitation and outreach. What is a Development Professional? A Development Professional builds long-term, sustainable connections between donors and the mission of the organization. This means: • Building trust through ongoing communication and engagement. • Cultivating relationships with donors and prospects over time. • Educating supporters about our mission and impact. • Ensuring stewardship, appreciation, and retention of supporters. Key Responsibilities • Solicit donations, pledges, and sponsorships through events, campaigns, and personal outreach. • Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and partners. • Develop and maintain strong, lasting donor relationships. • Create and implement strategies to grow both immediate fundraising and long-term development. • Collaborate with leadership on messaging, campaigns, and stewardship initiatives. • Track outreach, pledges, and donor activity to ensure accountability.
