About the Role - The Operations & Project Manager supports Detechtion’s Compression products through strong planning, analytical, and coordination capabilities. This hybrid role blends operational oversight, program management, and strategic planning to ensure efficient execution and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset and a background in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering. They should possess the ability to see the “big picture” of how automation, field operations, and logistics interconnect, while managing the details that keep each component running smoothly. A background in oilfield services or the Oil & Gas industry will be especially valuable for understanding the field environment and operational complexities. Key Responsibilities Program & Project Management • Plan, coordinate, and manage deployment of Detechtion’s solutions from initiation through completion. • Support the Sr. Director, Automation & Field Service and Sr. Manager of Engineering Services in developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. • Apply analytical problem-solving to identify process bottlenecks, assess data trends, and drive improvements. • Track milestones, manage resources, and ensure teams meet key objectives and timelines.Provide engineering and field support for clients in a timely and efficient manner • Facilitate program meetings, document outcomes, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders. Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics • Oversee day-to-day operations supporting program delivery, including procurement, materials management, and logistics planning. • Supervise and improve supply chain processes to ensure reliability, cost control, and efficiency. • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain quality and timeliness of materials and field support. • Develop and maintain operational documentation and dashboards for visibility and accountability. Strategic Planning & Coordination • Translate strategic goals into executable plans with clear performance metrics. • Leverage oilfield service experience to align field operations, automation solutions, and customer requirements. • Use data-driven insights to inform resource allocation and operational improvements. • Partner with Engineering, Field Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless program delivery and communication. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering (preferred) or a related technical or operational field. • 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or program coordination, ideally within oilfield services, energy, or industrial technology. • Travel up to 25% may be required to support field operations, customer deployments, and program delivery. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and operational data. • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and field service operations. • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or equivalent). • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategic oversight and tactical execution. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams. Success in This Role The Operations & Project Manager will succeed by integrating analytical thinking, technical understanding, and operational execution into every aspect of Detechtion’s Automation & Field Service programs.
