We are looking to add a Director of Finance to support our Yourgi to our team! LOCATION: Remote (US-based preferred) REPORTS TO: Group CFO (dotted line partnership with President of Yourgi) PAY: $135k - $160K and 20% bonus at Target CORE RESPONSIBILITES: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models tailored to a two-sided marketplace, including forecasting revenue streams (e.g., transaction fees, subscriptions, rewards programs), unit economics, and scenario planning for growth in the pet care sector. Partner closely with the Yourgi President and leadership team to provide strategic financial insights, support fundraising efforts, and drive long-range planning and budgeting. Lead financial reporting, including preparation of executive-level materials, board presentations (as needed), and analysis of key marketplace metrics (e.g., GMV, take rates, user acquisition costs, retention). Oversee balance sheet and cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity, capital efficiency, and support for app development and scaling initiatives. Manage the finance rhythm of business for Yourgi, including monthly/quarterly reviews, variance analysis, and alignment with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing). Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with detailed analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a tech/SaaS environment. Drive process improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making. Monitor and optimize operating expenses, with a focus on tech investments (e.g., AI features, platform enhancements) and marketplace dynamics. Provide thought leadership on financial strategies for tech innovation, including AI applications in pet care personalization and SaaS revenue optimization. Collaborate with the Group Finance team on consolidated reporting and mentor junior finance staff as the business grows. REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with significant time in tech companies (e.g., app development, marketplaces, or digital platforms). Proven track record in strategic finance or FP&A at high-growth tech startups or scale-ups; SaaS experience is strongly preferred. Experience with AI technologies or AI-enabled products is highly desirable. Background in consumer-facing tech or marketplace businesses a plus; pet care industry knowledge is advantageous but not required. Skills: Expert-level financial modeling, forecasting (including balance sheet and cash flow), and variance analysis in dynamic tech environments. Strong understanding of SaaS and marketplace metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, network effects). Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadership and stakeholders. Proficiency in financial tools/systems (e.g., Excel, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights); knowledge of SQL, data analytics tools, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
