Full Description

The Assistant Vice President leads and oversees the sales and operations of the Wealth Management Investments Division. The AVP formulates and implements business strategies and operational plans, while providing leadership in a culture that supports a sales focus, promotes quality client and internal service, employee engagement, marketing effectiveness, growth, and organizational results. The AVP fosters a collaborative environment, cultivates effective internal and external business partnerships, and provides direction to ensure all projects align with our strategy, are clearly defined, well-executed, and communicated effectively to stakeholders, facilitators, partners, and the team. What you will do here: • Business Administration: Oversee the general business operations of the Wealth Management Investments division. This includes, strategy and policy development, general business planning, budgeting and financial performance, goal setting, reporting, business partner relationship management, employee oversight and team development, and business communication. • Operations Leadership and Oversight: Lead, coach, and manage the operations team to provide service support to the sales team, clients, and partners to achieve service delivery expectations, growth targets, business goals and strategic objectives. Oversee the operational policies, processes, and activities for consistency, efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Support and manage escalated internal and external client inquiries and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within program expectations. Monitor team productivity and implement quality metrics to identify areas for process improvements and enhancements. Lead and coach operations leadership. • Sales Leadership and Oversight: Develop, implement, and manage the sales, business development, marketing, and client experience strategies, objectives, and plans. Oversee the sales policies, processes, and activities for consistency, efficiency, productivity, goal attainment, and growth. Lead and coach sales leadership. • Business Partnerships and Relationships: Develop and implement internal and external partnership strategies and business development tactics. Identify opportunities and changes in the marketplace. Cultivate and maintain positive and productive internal and external business partner relationships and be a visible representative of the company. • Compliance and Policy Oversight: Oversee the program ensuring compliance and adherence to all internal policies, business partner policies, and regulations with all governing oversight authorities (i.e., FINRA, SEC, NCUA, AZDIFI, etc.). Maintain, evaluate, and manage policies, processes, procedures, product offering and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Ensure policy and procedure management and oversight. Maintain compliance documentation for the program and ensure appropriate documents are retained appropriately and filed with the necessary regulatory agencies. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. What you will need: • Bachelor's degree in finance or business, or related field preferred. • Equivalent combination of education and experience required. • 10+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Investments, Financial Planning, and/or Financial Institutions required. • 7+ Years of Leadership Experience required. • Strong leadership skills required. • Excellent sales & service required. • Compliance oversight and management required. • Problem solving and analytical skills required. • Project management and oversight required. • Strong verbal and written communication required. • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or both Series 63 and Series 65) Licenses required. • FINRA Series 24 License preferred. • AZ Life & Health Insurance License preferred.
