Makes high-profile decisions in short time frames about complicated and controversial subject-matter and implements appropriate communications strategies and tactics. Manages a team of professional communicators. Assigns work, develops work plans and procedures, establishes work schedules and monitors work performed by staff to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives, and deadlines.
