A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required, along with strong B2B industry knowledge and 10+ years of experience in a quantitative business environment. Experience in marketing analytics and familiarity with data visualization tools is also necessary.
You will lead and manage the analytics relationship for key clients. Your focus would be to drive best practice and measurement strategy, while enabling the broader team responsible for providing day to day deliverables and reporting. You will be relied upon to coordinate our industry-leading capabilities to quantify media's impact, helping to meet the client's goals and improve business performance. Job Description: Responsibilities: Leadership & Measurement Strategy You will work closely with a cross-functional team performing and delivering data requirements, dashboards, custom and ad hoc analyses (advertising performance, website analytics, survey design/analysis, ROI modeling, cross channel analysis). You'll be a leader on analytics to power Merkle's B2B Transformation initiative. You'll exhibit strong analytical, project management, storytelling and communication skills. You'll participate in new business efforts to enable business growth and development (new and existing accounts). You'll assist with local and national department initiatives. You'll create measurement strategies, learning agendas and roadmaps with input from internal stakeholders. You'll set the vision/strategy and facilitates team operations to deliver quality deliverables. You'll provide thought leadership internally and for clients. You will author white papers, POVs and other industry thought capital; Functions as SME in a domain (mobile, performance marketing, ecommerce, web analytics or social). You'll define project deliverables, timelines and dependencies (team members, internal stakeholders, clients). Team & Client Engagement You'll package deliverables in an articulate, easy-to-understand format with a clear storyline that addresses client business needs. You'll understand the client's business and develops innovative problem-solving approaches; presents deliverables that articulate business value/impact. You'll contribute to the success of other team members by providing training, knowledge sharing and best practices. You'll manage day to day performance and career growth of junior team members and assists your junior people managers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field, required. Strong understanding of B2B industry and related analytics & data science around Account Based Marketing (ABM) required. Exposure to advanced MMM media measurement capabilities (additionally MTA, Test Measurement) required Previous experience in a media agency highly preferred 10+ years in a quantitative business environment 5+ years in marketing analytics with knowledge of the media planning process Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement approaches as well as understanding of role of attribution and paths to conversions Experience planning A/B and Match Market testing Experience in data visualization (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Datorama) Understanding of ad tech like DV360, LinkedIn etc. Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R and exposure to Snowflake or Databricks platforms, is a plus. Demonstrates understanding of digital tracking including limitations and advantages This is a 100% remote opportunity. The Sr. Director will report to a VP, Analytics. Additional information The annual salary range for this position is $136,000 - . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
