Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Windows Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis with the possibility of conversion to full-time. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates from a technical school, community college, or university who are eager to apply their knowledge in a real-world environment. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining, monitoring, and supporting Windows-based systems while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of Senior staff. Duties • Assist in the installation, configuration and management of Microsoft Server environments • Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Server environments. • Support account management activities, including Active Directory user and group administration. • Ability to work on-call rotations and off hour assignments as needed. • Monitor system performance and report issue to senior administrators. • Help troubleshoot end-user problems. • Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. • Participate in IT projects as assigned. Requirements: Qualifications • Two or Four-year degree in related field, or equivalent experience preferred. • Ability to understand, interpret, and glean results from complex technical relationships. • Ability to complete projects/tasks on-time. • Knowledge of Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Demonstrates commitment to providing Quality Customer Experience. • Excellent service-driven customer-focused skills. • Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently. Exhibit a high level of individual initiative. • Ability to multi task, prioritize, and successfully follow-to-completion all assigned tasks. • Excellent reading, oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. • Work from verbal and written instructions or requirements of varying levels of detail. • Proven ability to absorb, master and leverage emerging technologies. Strong problem solving abilities. Nice to Have Qualifications • Knowledge of Remote Desktop Services (RDS). • Understanding of virtualization environments. • Understanding of Cloud principles and services. • Understanding of GPO’s and Domain Trusts. • Prior experience with Linux Operating Systems. The estimated base rate range for this position: $20 - $28 per hour. The actual hourly range is based on fair market value based on your geographical location, skills, role requirements, and responsibilities. This posted compensation is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Denovo reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
