You will be expected to lead by example from day one. What you will be doing As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering complex Salesforce solutions for our clients. You will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and platform automation Translate business and functional requirements into thoughtful technical designs Partner closely with solution architects, consultants, and analysts to shape technical direction Build solutions that are scalable, secure, and understandable by other developers Design and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and event-based patterns Participate in and lead code reviews focused on quality, performance, and sustainability Troubleshoot complex issues across environments and releases Support deployment, release management, and CI/CD practices Communicate technical risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams Contribute to technical standards, patterns, and shared best practices across Demand Chain You will be hands-on. You will write code. You will be trusted to make decisions and expected to stand behind them. What technical experience you must have Salesforce experience is mandatory. You bring: 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, ideally in a consulting or client-facing environment Strong, hands-on experience with: Apex Lightning Web Components Salesforce automation and security model Experience designing and supporting Salesforce integrations Strong understanding of governor limits, performance considerations, and data modeling Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects at the same time Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred experience These are not required, but they are highly valued: Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and release management tools Experience with Data Cloud, complex data architectures, or large data volumes Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing Prior experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical enablement Experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds Exposure to large-scale or enterprise Salesforce environments Certifications Salesforce Platform Developer I required Platform Developer II preferred Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus and supported What success looks like at Demand Chain You build solutions that work well today and remain maintainable tomorrow You surface risks and tradeoffs early, not after they become issues You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks Your code and decisions improve the team, not just the project Clients and teammates trust your technical judgment Why Demand Chain You will work on thoughtful, complex Salesforce implementations You will have a real voice in technical decisions You will collaborate with experienced consultants and architects You will be part of a team that values integrity, accountability, and follow-through You will be supported in continuing to grow your Salesforce expertise
