InnovationLeadership in Manufacturing At DEMA Engineering, we design and manufacture precision fluid control and dispensing solutions used worldwide. We're looking for an Automation EngineerTool Room Supervisor to lead our automation efforts and oversee day-to-day Tool Room operations. This role is ideal for a technically proficient, detail-oriented individual who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and mentoring a team. If you're looking to make an impact in a collaborative manufacturing environment, this opportunity will position you to shape real change. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement automation solutions, including PLCs, robotics, and smart technologies. • Supervise Tool Room operations, guiding machinists and electricians to ensure high quality workmanship. • Analyze production workflows and recommend automation-based improvements. • Provide technical troubleshooting to keep operations running safely and efficiently. • Train employees on automation tools, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. • Partner with product design teams to improve manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA). • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve system integration and operational excellence. Core Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and experience (degree plus experience preferred). • Proficiency in Solidworks and Microsoft Office 365. • Technical expertise in automation systems and robotics. • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and tooling, able to interpret schematics and engineering drawings. • Ability to manage projects, lead people, and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems. • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or technical environment (preferred). • Experience with 3D printing and automated smart machining technologies (preferred).
