The Lead Business Analyst serves as the Trade Channel organizational authority “analytics to insights”, driving how the organization collects, visualizes, and interprets information to guide business decisions. This role leads the execution of the Trade Business Intelligence roadmap, accounting for current and future needs of the business. As a change agent, champions data literacy, story-telling, and data-informed decision making. Key Responsibilities Analysis & Insight Development: (50%) Synthesize large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business understanding and action. Conduct diagnostic and predictive analyses to determine what happened, why it happened, and what it indicates for future performance. Translate insights into clear narratives and recommendations that influence strategic and tactical decisions. Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports that support key initiatives and leadership priorities. Data Visualization: (40%) Lead the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and visual tools that enable data-driven decision-making across functions within the Trade organization. Collaborate with data science resources to define data acquisition and synthesis and requirements Establish KPIs as a “single source of truth” for trade channel performance measurement, ensuring consistent metrics and definitions across the organization. Develop intuitive design standards and visualization best practices that promote clarity, usability, and adoption. Drive user enablement through training, documentation, and reinforcement to ensure effective and consistent use of BI tools. Functional Leadership: (10%) Execute the Business Intelligence roadmap, aligned with the Trade organization strategy, setting priorities, milestones, and success metrics. Champion data literacy and democratization across teams, empowering stakeholders to make informed, insight-driven, and timely decisions. Informs business of emerging capabilities to enhance BI operations. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, category management, or related fields Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik); expert level proficiency in Excel,; experience with data management technologies (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Azure, Python) a plus Demonstrated experience in building dashboards and reports that drive business decisions and adoption.
