Full Description

Position Overview This is a hands-on role where you will run and shape core HR operations from the ground up. You will work directly with leadership across Finance, Operations, Product, Engineering and Underwriting to make sure our people processes are compliant, consistent, well organized and aligned with how we work as a company. This role is a good fit for someone who understands HR fundamentals and enjoys owning a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities HR Operations and Compliance Manage onboarding and offboarding from start to finish including offer letters, background checks, I 9s, account setup and exit steps Maintain accurate information in Rippling and manage all employee changes Own employment documentation, handbooks and policy updates Support multi state compliance including wage and hour rules, classification, benefits eligibility and leave programs Work closely with Finance on payroll changes, new hires, terminations and compensation updates Benefits and Employee Support Act as the main point of contact for benefits questions and enrollments Support open enrollment and help employees understand their plan options Recruiting Coordination Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication Support hiring managers with job descriptions and consistent documentation Manage background checks and offer steps Culture and Employee Experience Support leadership with team communications, engagement initiatives and company events Help promote a positive, clear and supportive work environment as the company scales HR Projects and Systems Build HR workflows that integrate with Finance, Ops and IT Create templates and SOPs for recurring processes Build HR reporting for headcount, turnover, compensation changes and similar needs Qualifications Three to five years of HR experience in a high growth or multi state environment Strong understanding of HR operations including compliance, benefits, recruiting support, payroll coordination and employee relations Ability to manage work with little oversight and strong attention to detail Clear and professional written communication Ability to handle confidential information and work well with different teams Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS is preferred Insurance experience is helpful but not required Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary plus equity stock options Flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States Unlimited PTO, including sick leave and company holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (25% paid by employee, 75% covered by Delos including dependents) 401(k) retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities and tuition assistance
