Recruiting for this role ends on February 27, 2026 Key Responsibilities • Lead large-scale data science projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex predictive modeling initiatives that impact firm-wide strategies and practices • Strategic analytics & model development: Design, build, and validate predictive models to forecast critical business outcomes, ensuring solutions align with firm leadership's goals • Continuous improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance modeling processes, data pipelines, and project methodologies to ensure ongoing innovation, efficiency, and best-in-class results • Data stewardship & feature engineering: Direct acquisition, preparation, and enrichment of datasets from diverse sources to maximize model accuracy and relevance • Model deployment & impact measurement: Guide integration of predictive models into business operations, set up monitoring systems, and refine models based on real-world feedback • Communication & stakeholder management: Translate analytics insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership, and deliver compelling visualizations and reports The successful candidate will possess: • Ability to translate analytical findings into strategic business recommendations tailored for firm leadership and decision makers • Proven leadership in managing analytics teams or projects, including mentoring, team-building, and overseeing model deployment • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising between technical and business teams Qualifications Required: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field • Minimum 8 years in predictive analytics, data science, or related roles • Expertise in predictive modeling techniques, including time-series forecasting, ensemble methods, and machine learning algorithms • Proficiency with data science programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and experience using leading machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost) • Strong statistical analysis skills, including hypothesis testing, model validation, and performance measurement • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and ability to communicate complex results in clear, actionable formats for executive stakeholders • Demonstrated project management skills, including managing deliverables, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines under pressure • Ability to travel 0 - 5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Preferred: • Experience in a professional services firm • Expertise in Tableau and DataRobot The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,400 to $253,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
