Supply Chain & Inventory Operations Manager (NetSuite + EDI/SPS + 3PL + Global Logistics) Location: U.S. preferred (Remote or Hybrid) Open to Central America for strong candidates About Us We are a fast-growing consumer products company managing global sourcing, direct import programs, and multi-channel retail distribution. We work closely with overseas factories (primarily Asia), freight forwarders, multiple 3PL partners, and major retail customers to ensure on-time inventory flow across retail and eCommerce channels. We are seeking a highly analytical and systems-oriented Supply Chain & Inventory Operations Manager to own the movement, visibility, compliance, and reporting of inventory across our global network. Role Overview This role will manage end-to-end inventory flow — from factory shipment through freight forwarders and 3PLs — while maintaining accurate reporting, EDI compliance, and system integrity within NetSuite. The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, process-driven, experienced with retail EDI environments (including SPS Commerce), and comfortable using AI tools to automate workflows, improve reporting, and drive operational efficiency. This is not just a logistics coordinator role — this person will be responsible for building visibility, improving reporting, ensuring EDI accuracy, and strengthening internal controls. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & System Management • Own inventory accuracy within NetSuite (POs, Item Receipts, Transfers, Adjustments) • Maintain and reconcile inventory across multiple 3PLs and warehouse partners • Ensure proper mapping between POs, freight, landed costs, and receipts • Monitor aging inventory, in-transit inventory, and shortage/overage reporting • Support month-end inventory and COGS reconciliation with Finance EDI / SPS Commerce Oversight • Manage EDI transaction flow (850, 855, 856, 810, etc.) between customers, NetSuite, and 3PLs • Work within SPS Commerce (or similar EDI platform) to monitor compliance and resolve errors • Ensure ASNs, invoices, and shipping documentation align with retail partner requirements • Troubleshoot EDI failures and coordinate corrections with internal teams and 3PL partners • Maintain strong internal controls around EDI accuracy and retail compliance Global Logistics Coordination • Liaise with overseas factories (primarily China) to ensure on-time shipment execution • Coordinate with freight forwarders on bookings, sailing schedules, and documentation • Track containers from origin to final delivery • Proactively flag delays, documentation issues, or cost variances 3PL & Warehouse Oversight • Serve as primary point of contact for 3PL partners • Ensure accurate receiving, ASN compliance, and reporting • Oversee inventory transfers between warehouses and retail partners • Monitor storage, demurrage, and freight-related costs Reporting & Analytics • Build and maintain inventory dashboards in NetSuite • Generate weekly inventory flow and cash impact reporting • Analyze trends in inventory turns, lead times, and stockouts • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements AI & Process Optimization • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, workflow automation, data analysis tools) to: • Automate reporting • Improve forecasting insights • Draft SOPs • Identify inefficiencies • Continuously improve operational workflows through technology Qualifications • 3–7+ years experience in supply chain, import logistics, or inventory operations • Strong NetSuite proficiency (required) • Experience working with EDI platforms (SPS Commerce preferred) • Experience managing retail EDI transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, etc.) • Experience managing international shipments and freight forwarders • Experience working with 3PLs • Strong Excel / data analysis skills • Comfortable working with AI tools and automation platforms • Detail-oriented with strong internal control mindset • Excellent communication skills (experience coordinating with overseas teams preferred) Nice to Have • Direct Import (DI) retail experience (Walmart, Target, Amazon Vendor) • Experience with landed cost allocation • Experience supporting finance teams during month-end close Why Join Us • High visibility role with impact across operations and finance • Opportunity to build scalable systems from the ground up • Exposure to global sourcing and major retail partners • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Application Question(s): • How have you used NetSuite in your previous role?
